Objective: 

This course will enable the students to –

  • Knowledge about meaning, importance and factors who influence teaching in physical education
  • To make students active and participative in the class.
  • To help students achieve learning outcomes.

Presentation Technique
  1. 1  Meaning and planning presentation technique.
  2. 2  Principles of   Preparation:  Personal and Technical Preparation.
  3. 3   Presenting activities
  4. 4   Qualities of good presenter
  5.  5  Factors influencing presentation technique

 

Unit III: 
Teaching Aides

Meaning and Importance of Teaching Aides in physical education

 3.2     Types of teaching aids use and improvisation of apparatus

 3.3     Criteria of Audio – Visual Teaching Aides

Unit IV: 
Lesson Planning.
  1. 1 Meaning aim and objectives of lesson plan
  2. 2 Types of lesson plan
  3. 3 Principles and values of lesson plan
  4. 4 Class formation, its values and types
  5. 5 Class activity/Recreational part (Assembly, Revision ,Reassembly and         Dismissal

Facilities and Equipment.

  2. 2  An ideal list of equipment for Physical Education.
  3. 3  Purchasing Principles- Realistic approach in purchases and purchase               procedures.
